Over Its 30 Year History Fohptp Has Demonstrated That Tennis Can Change Lives. In Addition To Building Character, Learning To Play Tennis Teaches Life Skills Such As Self-Discipline, Sportsmanship, And The Importance Of Daily Exercise.
Located In The Historic Hadley Park In North Nashville, The Program Provides Children From Diverse Ethnic And Socio-Economic Backgrounds A Place To Interact And Compete With The Common Goal Of Improving The Tennis Skills Of Everyone. Many Of Our Programs’ Participants Have Gone On To Become Tournament Players, While Others Have Received Scholarships For College And Even Played On The Professional Tour.
The Fohptp Is A 501-C3 Nonprofit Organization That Has Relied On Grants And Donations To Survive. Members Of The Board And The Executive Director Have Personally Committed To 100% Participation In Donating Our Personal Funds To The Program, But We Must Continue To Reach Out To You If The Program Is To Remain Viable. As Always, No Donation Is Too Small! Supporting The Fohptp Shows Your Support Of Our Nation’S Youth And The Community At Large.
